Exigen Services at CeBIT’2007 in Hannover

March 21, 2007

Exigen Services, a leading provider of IT outsourcing services in Russia and Eastern Europe, participated in CeBIT’2007, a large international trade show in Hannover from March 15 to March 21. The company was represented by RUSSOFT, an association of Russian software developers, and participated in the BITKOM forum on Russian-German cooperation in the IT field.

In 2007, Russia became a CeBIT partner country and a partner of BITKOM, a German association of IT companies, giving Russian companies a large-scale representation at the trade show. Exigen Services, with its longstanding and solid business contacts in Germany, was no exception. Among the clients of Exigen Services are such German companies as T-Mobile, Deutsche Post, Polarion, Berghof, LTU, Tupperware Deutschland and others.

Besides the participation in the trade show, Nikolay Puntikov, President for Eastern Europe of Exigen Services, delivered a speech at the Russian-German forum organized in the context of CeBIT’2007 by the German IT association BITKOM together with the association of Russian developers RUSSOFT. His presentation was dedicated to the advantages German companies may derive from cooperating with Russian providers of software development outsourcing services, based on the practical experience of cooperation with Polarion Software (Germany), a vendor of integrated software products for software development lifecycle management.

Together with Frank Schroeder, Director General of Polarion Software, Nikolay Puntikov presented a series of successful projects implemented for Polarion since 2005: “Our company has been working with customers from USA, Scandinavia and Western Europe for over 15 years. Especially active is our cooperation with German companies, which is caused by the cultural similarity as well as the geographic distribution of our development centers: the company has branches not only in Russia but also in Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine, which enables rapid and efficient interaction with Western European customers. A significant percentage of our staff in Latvia and Lithuania speak not only English, but also German. This allows for the maximum degree of mutual comprehension with our German customers,” summarized Mr. Puntikov.

“I am quite satisfied with the result of our cooperation with Exigen Services,” said Frank Schroeder. “I would also like to emphasize the top qualification of the Russian specialists, who are skilled in the most advanced technologies and methodologies in software development, as well as efficient management and rapid decision-making by the top managers of Exigen Services.”
