Exigen Services, one of the largest providers of IT outsourcing services in Central and Eastern Europe, announced a new development center in Minsk (Belarus). After the merger of Exigen Services and StarSoft Development Labs early this year, the amalgamated company has substantially strengthened its position in Russia and Eastern Europe. A new office in Belarus becomes a logical continuation of the growth strategy adopted by the company.

This step has been dictated by the active expansion of operations and associated need for qualified personnel. “In the coming years, Eastern Europe will continue its steady growth and will rightfully become one of the leading regions of the software development industry. Therefore, our presence on the strategically important labor market of Belarus will substantially strengthen the position of Exigen Services as one of the leaders of IT outsourcing industry,” opines Nikolay Puntikov, President for Eastern Europe of Exigen Services.

Minsk is renowned for its traditions in education; it is a large center of sciences and technologies with a solid engineering and scientific school. Availability of highly qualified and brilliantly educated specialists in the city and the high workforce replenishment potential are due to a number of strong institutions of higher education with a well-deserved high reputation, including Belorussian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics, Belorussian State University, and Belorussian National Technical University.
