Innovative product charms the toothache

Sesame Voice™ by Sesame Communications, the leading provider of online solutions for dental clinics in America, is now offered on the U.S. market. This product was developed under a contract with Sesame by Exigen Services, one of the largest vendors of IT outsourcing services in Central and Eastern Europe.

The Sesame Voice™ service is part of the product line by Sesame Communications intended for online communication between the staff of dental clinics and their patients. Software solutions by Sesame Communications allow one to arrange or confirm a patient appointment, browse the information on the procedures already performed or scheduled, examine X-ray images, and pay for the treatment. An important part of doctor-patient communications is the distribution of appointment reminders to patients. Before Sesame Voice™, such reminders could only be sent to the patient by e-mail or by short message to a mobile phone. Now, the reminder system has arrived at an entirely new level: the staff of dental clinics can now remind patients of their appointments by voice messages.

Sesame Voice™ automatically generates an audio reminder from the text typed on a computer, as opposed to the existing competitor programs only allowing for generation of voice messages from individual words and phrases prerecorded by the clinic staff. The product developed by the Russian programmers can radically decrease the effort required from the medical staff, and is extremely easy to use. Sesame Voice™ also provides for a reduction of clinic equipment costs, obviating the use of a dedicated telephone line to call the patients. The system makes up to several thousand calls in as little as 5-10 minutes.

Sesame Voice™ was developed by Exigen Services programmers in Dubna, at the Sesame Communications dedicated development center. The specialists at Exigen Services are responsible for the entire development and support cycle of all Sesame services and products. They also support the entire IT infrastructure of the American company remotely from Russia.

The new product was first announced to the public at the annual conference of the American Association of Orthodontists held in late may in Seattle (USA). Roman Isakov, director of the Sesame Communications development center: “Just in the first several days of the trade show we have sold tens of licenses, which is a lot for a product of this type. Many dentists who already bought similar products by our competitors have bought a license for Sesame Voice™ after seeing a demo version.” It is worth mentioning that the specialists of Exigen Services actively participated in a study of business processes at American dental clinics and developed the Sesame Voice™ product requirements, which has significantly contributed to its competitiveness and ensured a high demand for this service on the American market.
